Welcome to my fitness journey and thank you for visiting my page! I’m thrilled to share my story and philosophy with you.
My name is Oliver Evans, and I'm a passionate personal trainer with a rich background in dance and a deep commitment to promoting healthy, sustainable habits. My journey began in the world of elite performance, dedicating a decade of my youth to the athleticism and artistic expression that is Ballet. Training with the prestigious national institution, The Australian Ballet School, I was armed with a deep knowledge of movement and the athlete’s body, which I aim to express in my personal training sessions. Furthering my career as an athlete with the West Australian Ballet, I learned discipline, grace, and the incredible potential of the human body. However, it also exposed me to the intense pressures of body image and the often unhealthy societal standards that come with it.
Throughout my career, I faced the challenges of dieting and the constant urge to conform to a particular image. These experiences have shaped my approach to fitness and well-being. I’ve learned that true health is not about chasing trends or achieving a specific number on the scale, but about nurturing our bodies intuitively and embracing our unique potential.
I graduated The Australian Ballet School with a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Dance Elite Performance, and a Graduate Diploma of Classical Ballet with 2nd Class Honours. I also hold Certificates III and IV in Fitness, and an Undergraduate Certificate in Health Sciences, achieved with Distinction. These qualifications, combined with my personal experiences, have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of both the physical and mental aspects of fitness.
My mission is to help you unlock your fitness potential in a way that feels natural and empowering. Together, we will focus on building healthy habits that enhance your overall well-being, rather than fixating on short-term trends or external pressures. I believe in a holistic approach to fitness, where feeling good and being strong take precedence over mere aesthetics.
